Located in Houston, one of the largest and busiest ports in America, Youngship Texas was founded in 2013 with the vision to foster growth among the younger generation and act as a networking platform for the maritime and shipping industry. We hold bi-monthly events and maintain close relationships with many individuals in the maritime industry.
YoungShip Texas is a not for profit organization with a focus on networking and fostering relationships between people currently employed in the maritime industry. The goal of YoungShip Texas as an organization will be to expand the imprint of younger generations on the maritime industry by bringing them together in a social environment and forging business relationships and friendships.
The group has joined together to set the precedent for the future of
the maritime industry in one of the greatest growing maritime hubs in the
world, Texas. The group decided to join YoungShip in order to expand its
presence in the international maritime community and promote further awareness
throughout the U.S. Currently the board hosts monthly networking events that
have attracted around 50-60 people at each event and have a versatile
membership group.
We are very happy to a part of an organization that is rapidly growing and are always looking to see new friendly faces at our upcoming events!
