YoungShip Nigeria (YSN) berthed on 10^th February 2017 in Lagos, to engage, inspire & work with the industry, to promote the young bright minds in the Maritime industry. We are a branch under the global YoungShip International which is a non-profit professional organization for young people working within the global maritime industry.

YoungShip Nigeria plans to host professional conferences, seminars, campaigns, organize essay competitions and maritime innovations summit and entrepreneurship among Nigerian youths as well as social networking events i.e parties, braai.

YSN in partnership and cooperation with the industry host streams of social and professional events throughout the year.

YoungShip Nigeria (YSN) was established in in early 2017, and is principally a meeting place for young people working in maritime related businesses such as ship design, shipyards, equipment suppliers, finance, brokerage, operations and shipowners. You must be between 20 and 40 years old to register as a member. YoungShip Nigeria shall provide both competence and network development opportunities for its members. This is realized though the arrangement of knowledge and personal development events, company visits, social gatherings, and other arrangements. The functions are usually free for the YSN members. The association is dependent on support from the local business community to maintain its high level of activity. YSN is therefore very grateful to all our partners
