December is the Christmas party season and the time to celebrate with friends and colleagues. YoungShip Oslo is no exception, and this year we kicked off the festivities with pre-drinks at Wikborg Rein’s offices, our main sponsor for 2017, before heading to the Norwegian Shipowners Association for a presentation by Bjørn Bodding, Senior Analyst at Clarksons Platou on “Outlook for Shipping markets”.
The annual Shipping Cup took place on Saturday 4 November at Manglerud Sports Arena. In a historic feat, the YoungShip team went thru to the finals – after playing against Willis, Clarksons, AON, Hoegh Autoliners & Klaveness. Culminating into a historic second place against Pareto (losing 1-2 in a tight and exciting match).

YoungShip Oslo and Connect (former Young in DNVGL) once again joined forces to bring our members the YoungShip Environmental seminar (YES). The event this year took place at DNVGL premises on the 16th of February.
