The seminar centers around the topic of diversity in shipping, focusing on the specific initiatives companies are implementing in order to increase and retain diversified talent on all levels.

Loveleen Brenna from Seema discusses how to lead a diversified company, and Benedicte Fasmer from DNB provides experiences from the finance industry, presenting specific tools as well as their implementation in Norway's largest bank. For more info, see the below seminar program and speaker bios.

Loveleen Brenna is the founder of Seema and has expertise within diverisity leadership and cultural intelligence. She led the committee developing the national leadership standard for diversity and written books on the topic. In addition to multiple directorships, she's received a number of awards, amongst which Fritt Ord's Honor Award in 2016.  

Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer is the Head of Corporate Banking at DNB, and as such representing one third of Norwegian businesses. She's responsible for the DNBs activities within the  SMB segment, in addition to financial products within leasing and factoring in the Nordics. Benedicte has previously been Head of Capital Markets in Sparebanken Vest, as well as CFO in in Rieber & Søn, and has more than 25 years of experience from the financial sector from companies like Citibank International, Paal Wilson Management and Pareto Securities.
