YoungShip Helsinki is a non-profit organization for professionals (under 40 years old) working within the Maritime Cluster in Finland. YoungShip Helsinki was founded under the auspices of the renowned Youngship International and created for the benefit and support of the younger members of the maritime and shipping industry. YoungShip Helsinki is one of 34 branches world-wide. The idea is that young professionals can find a platform where they can meet others in similar positions, network and learn more about the industry through company visits and presentations.
Shipping is an international sector and YoungShip encourage its members to interact with members from different branches. When you are on a business trip, have a look at the local YoungShip's branches events to see if there are anything going on while you are there. During the pandemic we’ve had the pleasure of having members from other departments attending our webinars and we hope many of our Members are taking the opportunity to attend events organized by other departments as well. YoungShip International is sharing events organised by the departments so follow this account on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
YoungShip Helsinki is now represented by over 50 different companies and we are almost 100 members.
