At last, AS Tallink Group owns two vessels oriented on cargo transportation (Regal Star and Sea Wind). 

AS Tallink Group’s main revenue-generating assets are vessels, which account for approximately 80% of total assets. During the financial year the Group owned ice class 14 vessels. As at 31 December 2017 the book value of the ships amounted to EUR 1 269 million (EUR 1 230 million at the end of 2016).

In October 2018, it was announced that AS Tallink Grupp and Rauma Marine Construction (RMC) has signed a Letter of Intent for the construction of a new shuttle ferry for the route between Tallinn and Helsinki. The estimated costs of the project is 250 million EUR and the vessel is estimated to be completed by the end of 2021.
