We would like to invite our YS members to an exclusive evening of sailing, BBQ and drinks.

The activity will start with a sailing initiation class at the RYCB sailing school where a theoretical briefing will be provided and then a sailing practice onboard of three RS Venture at the lake. Regardless of whether you are experienced or just interested in experimenting for the first time, we believe you still will have fun 😉

The sailing class will conclude around 8:00pm, and then we will move to Sea-Scouts Lange Wapper where we will get some BBQ, drinks, and more fun!

Practical information:

There are limited places available just 24 people – so be fast in securing your spot!
We will gather at 5:30pm at the sailing school entrance - don’t be late!
What to bring?
- There might be water splashes during the sailing practice so bring clothes and shoes that can get wet (no boots).
- Bring a second set of clothes to change for the rest of the evening (changing rooms and showers available)
- Towel
- Shower supplies (in case you want to take a shower)
Sailing practice: the group will be divided in two, the group that is not sailing can swim and make use of 4 SUPs on the water. Everyone will be sailing at least 1hr on the lake
Life vest will be provided by the sailing school
Parking available at Beatrijslaan (main road next to the lake and the sailing school)
BBQ and drinks will be at Sea-Scouts Lange Wapper - address: Beatrijslaan 41, 2050 Antwerpen (10 min walk from the sailing school)
